First order

I received a pure order for the first time after making this website. The customer has placed 5 orders from my shop on Etsy.com. By “pure order”, the first order is by my friend. This order is for a friend, so I don’t think it’s a pure order. Of course there is no substitute for being very happy.

I have been off work since July due to mental illness, but recently returned to work. Work is a little hectic because the pearl harvest is near. As a result, I tend to neglect updating this site.

However, I am so happy to receive my first order that I am updating the website.

From the second week of December onwards I will be traveling for the pearl harvest until Christmas. I can’t ship pearls during that time, so there is only a short period of time left for me to sell pearls this year. With that being said, I am very happy with this order.

I was able to exchange emails about pearls with many people on Etsy this year as well. It was very strange, and thankfully, they were all really nice people.

I love pearls too, but I reaffirm that I still love humans. I really enjoy exchanging opinions with various people through my favorite pearls. Maybe it just happens to be a pearl. I would like to present attractive pearls to everyone as much as possible and enjoy pleasant conversations with everyone.

In three years or so, I would like to be able to exchange opinions on pearls with everyone on this site. Not only pearls, but also dogs, the city you live in, knitting yarn, music, and anything else.

To do that, I have to keep updating the site.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

It’s a comfortable word for me who is a laid back person.

These are pictures from my trip from Kobe to Nagoya over the weekend. I rode a motorcycle for about 200km. After work on Friday, I left at 18:00 and arrived in Nagoya at 22:00. Three members, over 200km apart from each other, gathered in Nagoya for band practice. Originally, the four members lived in the same area, but due to marriage and job transfers, they were all separated. If it is a normal band, it will disband if they get separated, but this band seems to be on good terms for some reason. After a leisurely band practice, we played with one member’s two children and had a barbecue. Soon I will be on a business trip for the pearl harvest, so this was my last fun vacation.

About 20 years ago, my brother lived in Chita. He was lodging here to attend college. I’m a country boy, so I had never ridden a train by myself, even though I was in high school at the time. However, in order to meet my brother, I mustered up the courage to travel 250 kilometers by train by myself. I had a really hard time changing trains in Osaka. No matter how many people I asked for directions, I was at a loss because I didn’t know where to change trains. I managed to find a train to Nagoya while half crying. When I took the local train from Nagoya to Chita and saw my brother’s face on the platform of Chita Station, I remember being so relieved that I almost cried. At that time, I was living in my parents’ house, so my brother, who lives alone, felt proud of me.

My brother caused the biggest incident in our family’s life here in Chita, and everyone felt sad and painful. My brother didn’t hurt anyone and tried to take care of everything by himself. However, it was a very painful and sad event for our family.

Over time, my brother recovered and is now living a happy life with his lovely children and wife. Even when I saw the scenery of Chita for the first time in 20 years, I didn’t remember anything. I remember the sadness of those days, but I couldn’t remember anything from the scenery of the city of Chita.

I conveniently interpreted the lack of recollection as a good solution of time. Looking at the city of Chita, I was a little worried about what I would do if I felt gloomy, but that didn’t happen. It was like a symbol of my brother’s happy life, and all memories had disappeared from Chita.

Heading north on the Chita Peninsula, I came to a crossroads. When I entered Kyoto, I got caught in a traffic jam for about 20 minutes.

Many people seemed to be on their way home after enjoying autumn. Many people don’t like traffic jams, but I think traffic jams aren’t that bad. It’s not bad to think that it’s time for everyone to have a good time and reach a crossroads.

I was going to write about the impression I got when I received my first order, but I got off topic. See you soon.

I am part of a Japanese company with an Akoya pearl farm. Apart from the company, I personally run an Akoya pearl shop. I would appreciate it if I could share smiles with various people through pearls.
