I have listed the pearl earrings requested by my customer.
Originally, these were pearl stud earrings that had already been available for sale. They were first made on June 26, 2022. The customer does not have pierced ears, so she requested that the studs be converted into clip-on earrings.
The fittings were to be K14 white gold. I immediately ordered the fittings, made the earrings, and sent photos to the customer for confirmation.
She replied, “That is nice, but personally I would prefer white gold to make the blue pearls stand out more. And didn’t we discuss it that way?”
Without realizing it, I had ordered K18 gold earring fittings and made the earrings using those instead.
After asking her to wait an additional week, the earrings were finally completed.
I truly apologize to my customer.
Now, this pair of earrings has also become a memorable piece.
