From Etsy To Eternity: Exploring The World Of Pearls

I sell pearls on a shopping site called etsy. Recently, I wanted a channel other than etsy where I could sell pearls. At the same time, I became interested in creating my own shopping site on the Internet. At the same time, I also want to study English, and I also want to write a lot of blogs. Here is where they are collected. I made a contract with a rental server and made a domain contract. And I’m working on creating a HP using free software called WordPress. These cost less than $100. Today I was doing a photo shoot for the top page. As you can see in the photo, I’m shooting with an umbrella upside down in a small room. It took me about four years to develop this method. I am an employee of a company that owns an Akoya pearl farm. At the company where I work, I struggled every day to find out how to take beautiful pictures of pearls through trial and error. Here are the results. I ask a professional photographer to take beautiful pictures, but they cost a lot of money. The umbrella I’m using costs about three dollars.

Also, professional photographers are pros when it comes to photography, but not when it comes to pearls. The appearance of the pearl changes depending on where the nacre is focused.

The company I work for once asked a professional photographer to photograph pearls. The cost of hiring them for the day was about US$2,200. They had a stance of “it’s okay if you leave it to us”. However, even in the evening, they and we were not able to take satisfactory pictures of the pearls. It was very beautiful as a photograph, but it was far from the intrinsic beauty of pearls. They struggled to balance the thickness of the nucre, the luster of the surface, and the whiteness of the background. After all, the shooting that ended in the evening took until 22:00 at night. I realized that understanding the intrinsic beauty of pearls is also necessary for photography.

As you can see in the photo above, the depth of the nacre layer looks different just by changing the brightness. Brighter colors make it difficult to see the thickness of the nacre layer, while darker colors make it easier to see the depth and thickness of the nacre layer.

Online shops and jewelry stores shine a strong light on the pearls to make them look beautiful. However, we must be careful when purchasing intrinsically good pearls, as strong light will make even the thinnest pearls look better. A pearl with a high brilliance shines without a strong light.

In this HP, I would like to write down the essential things about pearls. Also, I would like to write not only about pearls, but also about Japanese landscapes, daily life, and my thoughts.

I want everyone to know what kind of pearls and what kind of people are selling them. Everyone has their own individuality, and while everyone has different aspects, there are also aspects that are common even if the country, religion, or times change. I may want to share such things through pearls.

This dog’s name is Lulu. She is at my parent’s house. She doesn’t usually wear a necklace. She has a very tomboyish personality, but when she put on her necklace, she instantly became classy. She is also the manager of my shop. I will run this shop so as not to hurt her honor.

The shop is still under construction, but there are not many customers, so I will proceed with preparations at my own pace. If anyone wants a pearl, please let me know that you read my diary. I will give you a discount. And I would be very happy if you could point out my mistakes in English. See you. Please visit Etsy too.

Thank you.

I am part of a Japanese company with an Akoya pearl farm. Apart from the company, I personally run an Akoya pearl shop. I would appreciate it if I could share smiles with various people through pearls.
