After a month, I returned home from the Akoya pearl farm, where I was on a business trip. In late January I contracted Covid. I had no fever symptoms, but had chills the whole time. It seems that the fatigue of long business trips and the fatigue of Covid infection is still continuing. But the tragedy in Turkey and Syria makes it difficult to say that. I pray that as many victims as possible will be saved. I haven’t donated or fund-raised much in the past, but this time I’ll participate in a little fund-raising. Japan also has many earthquakes, but Turkey and Syria seem to have had larger earthquakes. As I prayed, I was stunned and shocked. It reminds me of human powerlessness. But humanity also has the power to overcome difficulties. I have mixed feelings, but right now I feel very sad. I also pray to the Japanese gods and Buddhas so that they can be saved as much as possible.
