Mother’s Birthday

This weekend, after work on Friday, I went back to my parents’ house on my motorcycle in the rain, taking an hour and a half from Osaka.

Because my mother’s birthday is on November 4th. On Saturday, I drove an hour from my parents’ house to Kobe with my mother, and she and I went on a date for half a day. It was a rainy and windy day, but it was a fun day.

We ate delicious food, did some window shopping, chose books, and examined wallets.

And that day, on Saturday night, my brother’s family also came back to my parents’ house. We all celebrated my mother’s birthday. The next day, at my brother’s wife’s request, we went to Kobe again and looked at lights and chairs at IKEA. IKEA is a very large store, so we were all tired from walking. In the evening, everyone went back to my parents’ house, and I returned to my home in Kobe. And since I haven’t made pearl products for a while, I made a necklace for the first time in a while today.

Today is Monday, but it was a national holiday. Autumn is deepening, and the nights are cold. It’s 8:30 p.m. now, and after this I will move from Kobe to my house in Osaka. This weekend has been a back and forth.

I am part of a Japanese company with an Akoya pearl farm. Apart from the company, I personally run an Akoya pearl shop. I would appreciate it if I could share smiles with various people through pearls.
