Today I made a product for the first time in a while. I made earrings using the crystal frost that I bought at the natural stone exhibition held in Kyoto the other day. It’s my first time to use natural stones, but I think it turned out to be a cute earring.
This flower-shaped crystal looked whitish when it was in the case, but when I took a picture of it, it looked pale. It’s shaped like a cherry blossom, but I thought it was a fun crystal with a color like violet.
On a different note, we need a server to run a website like this one. At home, the website is the building and the server is the land. I am making this website with free software called WordPress. And this WordPress has a function that displays from which country this site is accessed. Currently, almost no one visits this site, but the first place is the United States and the second place is Finland. I can understand why the United States has the most, but I don’t understand the reason for Finland.
Are Finnish people interested in Akoya? If so, I am interested in the demand and popularity of Akoya pearls in Finland. I have a customer in Sweden who trades in Akoya pearls. Even in Sweden, blue baroque Akoya pearls are popular. Many Japanese have a very stylish image of Nordic countries such as Finland and Sweden. I think there are many Japanese who imagine very smart furniture based on white. And it is often broadcasted in the news that the educational standard is high. It doesn’t matter when, I’m waiting for your voice.
The recent news in Japan has a lot of topics about the yen’s depreciation. Prices have risen, wages have barely risen over the last 30 years. Since I became a working adult, starting salaries for university graduates have remained almost flat. Even as a Japanese person, I think Japanese people are very conservative. It has produced many positive aspects as well. On the other hand, I think that this conservativeness has become a hindrance to the creation of new industries.
However, not only Japan but also many other countries have their own big problems. North Korea is dropping missiles into the Sea of Japan like fireworks. I doubt the Japanese Self-Defense Forces really have control over their missiles. Anyway, thanks to the Internet, our possibilities have expanded on a huge level. However, it seems that the days are getting busier and busier because of that.
Personally, I think I have to make a conscious effort to step away from the internet and take time to listen, for example, to the chirping of crickets. That’s how I sleep soundly and slowly, following in the footsteps of my dog, Lulu.
