1. Information We Collect
We may collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, order details, account information, newsletter subscription information, comments or product reviews, inquiries, IP address, browser and device information, cookies, and payment-related identifiers.
Flower Jem does not directly store your full credit card details. Payment information is processed by Stripe.

3. Analytics
Flower Jem uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Analytics for WooCommerce. These services may use cookies and collect information such as page views, product views, cart and checkout activity, purchases, device and browser information, and approximate location.

4. Shopping and Payments
Flower Jem uses WooCommerce to manage products, carts, orders, customer accounts, billing and shipping information, and purchase history. See the WooCommerce privacy documentation.
Online payments are currently processed by Stripe through WooCommerce Stripe Gateway. Stripe may process payment, device, and fraud-prevention information under the Stripe Privacy Policy.
5. Newsletters and Subscriptions
Flower Jem uses MailPoet for newsletter subscriptions and email delivery. A newsletter subscription collects your email address and any information you choose to provide. New subscriptions are configured to require double opt-in, and marketing emails include an unsubscribe link. MailPoet is provided by Automattic; see the Automattic Privacy Notice.
Jetpack also provides blog and comment subscription features. When you use these features, subscription and technical information may be processed through WordPress.com or Automattic. See the Jetpack Privacy Center.
6. Contact Forms, Email, and Comments
Contact Form 7 is used for inquiries. Submitted messages and contact details may be stored in WordPress using Flamingo. WordPress emails are routed through Gmail using WP Mail SMTP, so email information may be processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy.
Comments and product reviews, including Pearls & Stories, may collect the submitted text, name, email address, rating, IP address, browser information, and optional comment cookies. Please do not include sensitive personal information in a public comment or review.
7. Spam Protection and External Services
Flower Jem uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help detect bots and spam. Cloudflare may receive technical information such as IP address, browser and device signals, and interaction data. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and Turnstile documentation.
Some pages may load YouTube videos and Google Fonts. Your browser may connect to Google or YouTube and send technical information such as your IP address, browser, device information, referrer, and cookies where applicable. See the Google Privacy Policy and the Google Fonts FAQ.
8. Cookies
Flower Jem uses cookies and similar technologies for:
- WooCommerce cart, checkout, and session functions
- WordPress login and comment preferences
- Google Analytics 4
- Stripe payment and fraud-prevention functions
- MailPoet and Jetpack subscription functions
- external services such as YouTube, Google Fonts, and Cloudflare Turnstile
The site does not currently provide a site-wide cookie consent or preference banner. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, although cart, login, checkout, and other site functions may not work correctly.
9. Data Storage and International Processing
Personal information may be processed by the site’s hosting provider and by service providers such as Google, Stripe, Automattic, MailPoet, Jetpack, and Cloudflare. These providers may process information outside Japan or on servers located overseas, subject to their own privacy terms and safeguards.
Retention periods vary. Order and transaction records may be kept as needed for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, legal obligations, and customer support. Newsletter, inquiry, comment, and account information may be retained while needed for the service or until a valid deletion request is processed, subject to legal and operational requirements.
10. Access, Correction, and Deletion
You may contact Flower Jem to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Some information may need to be retained for legal, accounting, security, or operational reasons. Newsletter recipients can also use the unsubscribe link included in each marketing email.

When you leave Flower Jem through a link to Instagram, X, Pinterest, YouTube, or another website, that service’s own privacy policy and terms apply. Flower Jem is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of external websites.
