Troubleshooting WordPress Plugins: My Story

I am using a software called WordPress to build this website. With WordPress, you can create a website relatively easily even if you don’t have web knowledge. Additionally, there are various plugins available for smooth website operation. Think of plugins as options for your home, such as installing solar panels, adding the latest bidet to your toilet, or double-glazing your windows for better heating and cooling. Among these, I introduced a plugin called “EWWW Image Optimizer” the day before yesterday. This plugin compresses and “lightens” the images used on the site to make it smoother for visitors to navigate the site.

However, when I introduced this plugin, I encountered some issues. Some images stopped displaying, and all visitor statistics on the site became zero. First, it was crucial to resolve the issue of images not displaying because I’ve put a lot of effort into creating articles and product pages with images. Next, visitor statistics are personally important to me. I eagerly look forward to seeing how many people have visited my site every day. Currently, there aren’t many visitors to my site, but every single one matters and serves as motivation. Even if there’s just one visitor, it brings great joy, and it encourages me in running the site. In such a situation, with very little web knowledge, I explored various sites to find solutions. Ultimately, I found the answer that if issues occur after introducing a plugin, I can resolve them by deactivating the plugin. I successfully resolved the issues just now.

I decided to run this site not only to promote the adorable All-knot pearl necklaces but also to address other challenges that may arise. However, these are common occurrences in the world. I personally feel a great sense of relief, so I wanted to document these experiences in this article.

Thank you for your understanding.

I am part of a Japanese company with an Akoya pearl farm. Apart from the company, I personally run an Akoya pearl shop. I would appreciate it if I could share smiles with various people through pearls.
