Hello, this is Flower Jem.
I’m writing to let you know that I’ve just listed Haruka, a pair of 9 mm stud earrings from the Sixty Series.
This piece had already been available on Etsy, but this time I’ve also published it on my own site. As usual, the product description is quite long — but for this release, I tried summarizing the text and shaping it into a more structured article.
It now has something resembling an introduction, a flow, and a conclusion. Until now, I’ve simply written whatever I wanted, but I feel I’m finally beginning to see a clearer form.
It’s as if I’ve installed traffic lights on a chaotic road that had none before. You might say, “Why didn’t you do that from the start?” — but I didn’t want to be too formulaic at the beginning. After all, I love baroque pearls.
There’s a big difference, at least for me, between creating a framework first and forcing everything into it, and writing freely until the need for structure naturally appears. I wanted to express everything I feel about pearls as they are, without restrictions.
That said, I stayed up late again last night, and today’s daytime work was exhausting. And now it’s already 1 a.m. again. Tomorrow will probably be another tough day.
But it’s Thursday tomorrow — Friday, when I return to Kobe, is just around the corner.
On Saturday, I plan to continue working on a pair of earrings made with three pearls. I’m both nervous and excited to see whether they’ll turn out cute or become a tangled mess of chains.
That’s all for now.
Pearl bless you.
