The Blue Pearl Family(Reserved)

This is a set consisting of a necklace, bracelet, and pendant made with Akoya natural blue baroque pearls.
This set was created as a custom order.

The order came from a traveler visiting Japan from overseas.

This customer has been supporting Flower Jem for quite some time.
We exchanged many messages.

 

 

However, once the pearl transaction settled down, the number of messages between us naturally decreased.

This happens with every customer, and it is only natural.

It would be impossible to keep exchanging messages with every customer forever.
Our thumbprints would probably wear away if we tried.

 

 

Now then, this customer requested 6 mm pearls for the bracelet and necklace because they are easy to wear in daily life.

This way of thinking also varies from person to person, yet it is something most people can understand regardless of their values.

Incidentally, the pearls used in this necklace and bracelet were harvested at a pearl farm owned by the pearl company where I previously worked.

That means these pearls were harvested in Tsushima, a well-known pearl producing region.

 

 

 

The pearl farm has a history of more than 120 years, and they are particularly committed to producing pearls with thick nacre.

They do not intend to produce baroque pearls, but every year a certain number of baroque pearls are naturally harvested.

Deep nacre creates deep luster.

Not only blue light, but also red and green interference colors appear beautifully.

Looking at them almost feels like it improves your eyesight,
and perhaps gives the heart the same nourishment as reading about fifty pages of a good book.

I am the type who finishes summer vacation homework at the last possible moment.

Tonight, I am listing three custom items in order to process the payment for this order.

All I really need to do is photograph the pearls, make a simple video edit for Instagram and YouTube, and write the product article on the website.

I returned home from Osaka to Kobe at 8:00 p.m. and made one bracelet.

 

 

Then around 10:00 p.m. I started listing the three custom items, and now I am working on the third listing.

Just doing that has already taken me past 4:00 a.m.

Oh no… this article has become completely unrelated to the product.

Anyway, the pearls in this bracelet, necklace, and pendant actually all come from the same pearl farm.

In a way, they are a family.

 

 

The customer who ordered them also requested the pendant as a gift for her daughter.

So the pearl family will travel to join another family.

That is why I decided to name this set “The Blue Pearl Family.”

 

 

Although to be honest, since it was already 4:00 a.m., the CPU in my head was running very slowly and I could not think of anything more creative.

Of course I will go to sleep after this, but I even had the strange thought that if I oversleep or arrive late, perhaps the customer might forgive me after reading this article.

 

 

Still, I absolutely want to meet a customer who has come all the way from far overseas.

Thinking about that, it would be better for me to sleep as soon as possible.
