Today I listed a pair of earrings from the Sixty Series.
They are one of several pairs I made when I was preparing some earring options for a customer who visited Japan in March 2026. I made this pair on March 1, showed them to the customer, and then somehow they remained unlisted afterward.
The Sixty Series itself was released almost exactly a year ago. At the time, I made around five pairs of earrings and one bracelet, and then no new pieces followed.
The pearls in this series come in 9 mm, 8 mm, 7 mm, and 6 mm sizes. So far, I have only made pieces using part of the 9 mm pearls.
This means that even people who already know the Sixty Series will probably have forgotten about it by the time a new piece finally appears. And for people who have never heard of it, it will feel like a brand-new series.
Also, the product article for this new piece became extremely short because AI—or rather, ChatGPT, which has been helping me for about three years now—gave me the rather strict order: “Keep product articles under 400 words.”
It also told me, “You already have plenty of long articles and pearl articles. Right now, you should prioritize increasing the number of products you have listed.”
So from this piece onward, my product articles are going to be shorter.
That did make the listing process faster, but even so, I got home at around 7 p.m. tonight, prepared dinner and tomorrow’s lunch, started working on this at around 8 p.m., and finished at about 11 p.m.
I made a YouTube Short, then reused the same video and article for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
Incidentally, tonight I learned for the first time that you can add links to videos in Instagram Stories.
This was genuinely shocking to me.
Until now, whenever I introduced pearls on Instagram, I thought there was no way to link people directly to my website.
Anyway, after making and posting the video, and listing the earrings on both Etsy and the Flower Jem website, it was 11 p.m. And that brings us to now.
Since I have now been placed under this 400-word restriction for product descriptions, I am taking out my frustration by hammering all these words into this post instead.
After this, I’m going to ask the AI to translate it, and I’m rather curious to see what it has to say.
Apparently, product descriptions should be short, but my other articles can still be as long as I like.
According to its count, I already have around 140 articles.
Apparently, that is far too many for such a small shop.
And although I have plenty of articles, it says I have far too few pearl products listed.
In other words:
“What exactly are you selling?”
When it puts it that way, I have to admit that I think it is right.
So from now on, I am also going to work on organizing all the articles I have written into a more systematic structure.
There are quite a few articles I no longer even remember writing.
I would like to organize them so that both you and I can properly go back and read them again.
