These are Akoya pearl earrings.

The pearls are round, with beautiful surfaces and strong luster. They look almost like textbook examples of pearls.

This pair was one of 12 pairs made in parallel at the same time.

The 3 mm, 4 mm, and this 7 mm pair were made together, along with blue pearls and 9 mm earrings from the Sixty Series, which were harvested 60 years ago.

The video specifically shows the pearl selection, choosing the drilling positions, drilling, and attaching the findings to the pearls.

“Yuyake” means “sunset” in Japanese. I chose this name because the pearls have a subtle reddish tint, which reminded me of the colors of a sunset.

I think it will also be useful for comparing the color, luster, and sizes of the pearls.

I realized while taking these photos that there was some adhesive left around the findings. My presbyopia has gotten quite bad recently, so I apparently hadn’t noticed it. I have since removed the excess adhesive.
