These are Akoya pearl hoop earrings.
The 3.5-4.0mm pearls used for these earrings were purchased recently (today is June 9, 2024). First, I made a bracelet and drop earrings with these pearls, and then I created these hoop earrings.

These hoop earrings are made with stainless steel wire.
This wire is commonly used in the pearl industry.
Akoya pearls are relatively small, so thread is often used. However, South Sea pearls are larger and heavier.
For such pearls, sturdy wire like this is used.
Between each pearl, I placed 2mm K14 white gold mirror balls.
These mirror balls add a touch of elegance to the earrings.
The idea to create these hoop earrings came to me when I saw a friend wearing similar earrings.
Her earrings were imitation pearls of a much larger size and looked quite glamorous.
Using large, real pearls to make earrings can be very expensive.
So, this time, I made hoop earrings with these small pearls.
