Akoya pearl earrings with a silver-lip oyster flower cap. The main size of Akoya pearls harvested is 7 mm, so pearls larger than 9 mm are characterized by a small harvest. Round pearls of 9 mm or more are very expensive, but this pearl is baroque, so it is relatively inexpensive. However, the thickness of these pearls are quite thick and the multi-colored pearls are very attractive. Like the vegetables that grow in the field, these earrings are like fruits with stems and pods attached. In making this earring, I thought that it would be preferable from a design point of view to have the hat and the pearls come into close contact with each other. However, I dared to create a gap between the hat and the pearls in order to emphasize this distorted baroque. Round pearls are common, but I would like to highlight this imperfect baroque shape. Pearls, vegetables, and humans all have different shapes. It’s not just a pretty shape like a ready-made product. But each has its own charm.
